I almost forgot...

Remember this post? Well, I regret to inform you that I did not win.

The end.

SLACKER!!

I have been a total slacker lately. Unfortunately. I don't really feel like there is very much to blog about right now though. We're just doing the same thing, you know, going to school and work! Oh, I've been meaning to tell you... I chopped off a lot of hair a couple of weeks ago! It is now above my shoulders, and completely frustrating. Don't get me wrong, I love the haircut, I'm just so used to being able to put my hair in a ponytail and then forget about it. Not anymore! I actually have to take some time to do it... but it's ok. It is different than what I'm used to, and I like it! Change is good.

Here's another update: as of right now, I'm planning on doing the Top of Utah Half Marathon in August! I don't really know why either, I really dislike running. I think it's because it is so far out of my comfort zone, and I want to prove to myself that I can do it. Should be easy, right? Wrong again. I need new running shoes. I know, I know, I already have a ton of shoes. One pair is for tennis, one pair is just to wear casually (I've tried running in them, and for some reason they make my ankles hurt), one pair makes my shins hurt when I run, and the last pair I've had for about five years now. Crap. Buying a new pair of shoes is sometimes frustrating, I think.

Do any of you have really good tips for half marathon training? So far I'm pretty pathetic and can only run about 2 miles... maybe on a good day. Let me know.

One more thing... I am done with my summer classes next week!! I'm super excited about it too. I am ready for my summer to start! Even though I will just be transitioning from school to my internship at the hospital. It should be exciting. I'll let you know how it goes.

Have a happy week!

We're Alive!!

I promise we are still alive, life has just been SUPER insane these past couple of weeks! We've been so lucky to be able to spend time with our families and with each other. Tyler is the only thing keeping me sane during this awful thing that is called summer school. Seriously though, four hours a day is nuts. Luckily I only have 13 school days left and I am DONE...with school for the summer. Then I start my internship. I'm super nervous, but I'm really excited to start! Unfortunately, as soon as I finish school, Tyler will start. Things just can get much "funner" in Logan.

I am going to try super hard to be better at blogging every day again. Promise. By the way, how many of you are actually reading the blog this summer? If you could just click on "follow" so I know who is reading, I would be way more motivated to update this thing.

Have a wonderful evening!
(Or day, depending on when you read this!)

Summer School

Remind me again why I thought summer classes were a good idea? I only have two classes, but I am in class for 4 hours a day 5 days a week. Am I retarded?
P.S.  The answer is yes.

Wasting time...

It's really so amazing to see what I can waste time doing. Today was the very last day of finals week (hooray!) and I have been sitting in a really quiet lab since 12:30, and I will be here until 5:00. Since I don't have any more homework or tests to study for, I've been sitting here, getting absolutely nothing accomplished. I've decided that it's a good thing though, not having to get anything done. It is so awesome to just sit here and not feel the stress of knowing that something needs to be done, or that I have a project due tomorrow. The peace and quiet has been wonderful for the last 3 1/2 hours, but I am SO ready for my summer to start! I only get a week to play, then school starts again for me. Oh well, that's just life, right?

I can't wait until I can go outside and enjoy the BEAUTIFUL weather!! Well, more like go sit in a car and look at how beautiful it is outside. I'll take it though! It is a great way to start the weekend, and even better, the BEST way to end a semester and start the summer!

Happy weekend everybody!

Dear Tyler...

Yep, you guessed it!

PIZZA!

I also just wanted to tell you that I love you. You are going to do great on your test tomorrow! Thank you for always being there for me. By the way, watching you stumble is quite the interesting experience, I'm always intrigued by the things that you choose to stop and look at.

Thank you for being my husband.

Love,

Sweetie

P.S. Pizza.

New goal for the month of May!

I'm such a dork. Anybody who really knows me knows that I love winning things, especially radio contests. So, for the month of May I have set a goal to win an Amazon Kindle! I never really had any interest in owning a Kindle, however, I started thinking about it when I was looking at the prizes I could potentially win and all of the sudden a Kindle seemed really freaking sweet. I would tell you what radio station's website I'm using, but I really want to win this one, and I'm afraid somebody might go there and try and win it right out from under my nose. The contest ends on May 27th, so, I'll let you know what happens! I have 29 entries in the contest as of right now.

The cool thing is, there's no glare on the screen so I can read outside! I think this would really help me read more, it's super simple to get books, and the Kindle is a lot easier to carry around than a book. Maybe I'm just lazy, but oh well. I think it would be cool to win!

Finals Week

Up until this morning at 9:30 I was loving finals week! No classes, we tend to go out to eat more often and Tyler even let me have a bowl of ice cream! I only had one final this semester, so I was feeling pretty good! I wasn't too stressed, and I thought that the stuff on my test was going to be a cinch, I didn't have anything to worry about, right? WRONG! When I was taking my Corporate Finance test this morning I thought I knew the answers to the very first two questions, and then I skipped all the way to question #14. One of the most horrible feelings, EVER. Then after maybe five or six questions I jumped to #26. Perfect. I had no idea how to do half of the test. I had to trick myself into thinking that I knew how to do this stuff, and that it was possible to find the answer. Wrong again. I had trouble even getting my answers on the calculator to match up with any of the possible answers on the test. Whatever. I was just ready to be done at that point. I worked through it, I may have guessed on a few or just picked the closest possible answer to what was on my calculator, but it's done. Now I am anxiously awaiting my test score -- I want to know how good I really am at guessing games!

P.S. After my test I was really disappointed. The perfect pick-me-up? Eighty-six dollars in my wallet (from selling my book back) and buying myself a coke.

Weird compliment...

As I was working today in the computer labs, I was eating a PB&J for lunch. All of the sudden a guy walked in and told me he liked how I eat my sandwiches (today I just happened to be tearing off little bites). It caught me completely off guard.

What is the weirdest compliment you have ever gotten?

Oops...

I'm really glad posting every day lasted so long. I really am sorry. I lost all of my motivation to blog. I don't know what happened either, because I was having fun blogging all the time. Then the feeling was just gone. The past week has been pretty fun though! Not looking forward to this week as much... Finals week sucks. However, I think I've got it pretty good -- I only have one final on Thursday and it isn't even comprehensive. I really am just nervous for my husband, the man has a final for his genetics class on Wednesday, and then an organic chemistry final on Friday. Ick.

I'm going to do my best to start posting something everyday again. Just for you.

The weather is finally starting to look better! Yay! I am significantly happier when it is warm and sunny outside. Logan definitely would not be a good place for me to stay for the rest of my life. I just have to keep telling myself that we're only here for two more years. I just hope they go by fast (in two years I will probably regret saying that).

Sorry about all of the rambling. I'm just pretty bored, and these are things that I've been thinking about lately. I've got a good story to tell you later.

Happy Monday!
