T.G.I.F.

I am so happy it is Friday! This has been a super long week. Today has been a really long day too though. I've been working since 10:30 this morning. Ugh. Don't get me wrong, it's a fabulous job, but really? Sitting in a computer lab for that long without being able to do homework tends to get a little bit boring and lasts forever.

As for the weekend, we might play some tennis; thank goodness for good weather! I think we're probably just going to take it easy though. Watch some Prison Break. This is the life!

P.S. There was an awards banquet for the JCOM students last night. I may or may not have won an award. If you want to know if I won (and what I won) you will have to convince Tyler to blog about it.

Most importantly though... School is almost done for the semester! Good thing I get a week off and then back for some summer classes. Oh well. Only one year left of school, then I have to go into the real world (I don't think I'm excited though)... This is mostly what I'm thinking about today, what are you thinking about?

A good idea!

Last night while Tyler and I were at work I had the most genius idea! I need to give you all a little bit of background information before I tell you the idea though. Ready? Good.

There is this website, StumbleUpon, that pretty much lets you surf the internet based on your interests. I get a lot of picture of animals and a lot of food blogs/recipes. Now, are you ready for the genious idea, because I'm going to tell you... Since I've stumbled upon a lot of really tempting recipes (that I've "favorited" so I can go to them again) I thought it would be a great idea if I started cooking these recipes! I would probably make them on Sundays and blog about it! Let me show you just a few of the items I want to make:

Red Velvet Crepes

White Cheddar Broccoli Mac n Cheese

Cheesecake Stuffed Strawberries

What do you all think about my idea? Genius or not? Would you want to read about my cooking/baking adventures? There could possibly be funny stories, many successes, or epic failures. Let me know and I'll get started ASAP. Or not. Whatever. Thanks!

Yucky Weather...

Dear Weather,

I am pleased to inform you that it is now APRIL!! That means you can stop with all of this snow-crap, and give us some good weather! I would really appreciate it if outside didn't look like this:

I would really love to be able to use the new tennis shoes my wonderful husband just got for me.

Test day...

My test is finally here, and I'm super nervous. Wish me luck!

Update: I just finished and I'm 100% sure that I didn't do very good. I don't even care though, it's done!

If quizzes are quizzical, what are tests?

Tests are just plain awful, it doesn't matter what subjects they are for. Tyler has already had two tests this week,  I have one tomorrow and two next week. I sure am ready for the semester to be over! Tomorrow's test wouldn't be as bad if it weren't in the worst class ever (Mass Media Law is in a completely different category). Corporate finance feels like it is never going to end, probably because I don't know how to do anything. For all of my very few readers ... I'm sorry I have complained about this class so much lately. It just sucks though.

I do have a really exciting post coming for you though! I have three words for you: jumbo swirly cupcakes! Yep, you heard me. Be excited! I even have pictures!

P.S. Do you have any good jokes? I could really use something funny right now.
